Peugeot Bretagne
Vintage French bikes are made different. Anyone who’s worked on one knows the agony and ecstasy of discovering how beautifully and elegantly every part fits together while using standards that are incompatible with any bike or part that has been made in the last 40 years. This gorgeous mixte is a bit of a transitional model from the ‘80s, featuring a mix of French components (bottom bracket, shifters) and standard sizes (stem, pedals, and 700c tires - which were one of the only French standards that the international industry adopted). A robust city bike, it features steel fenders and a rear rack, and a sporty yet upright riding position. It also has its working original frame pump and bottle generator that still operates the front light (though we recommend getting some modern LED lights that are lighter weight and brighter and won’t slow you down and drag on your tire).
Will fit riders in the 5’4” to 5’8” range.
700 × 38c tires on eyeletted, alloy rims.

Raleigh Serengeti
With its striking blue, green & purple pearlized paint job, this hardtail is proportioned well for someone with a long torso, or who just prefers to ride with their body stretched out, 90’s style. With the narrow knobby tires and forward riding position, it will hit a niche similar to a modern flat bar gravel bike, as a rugged, all-terrain adventure or commuting machine.
Size 17” frame will fit riders in the 5’4” to 5’7” range, particularly those with a proportionately long torso.
26” x 1.35” cross tires on double wall, eyeletted rims.

Trek 4500
For fun flights of fancy through the forest, this fabulous hardtail is guaranteed to bring smiles to your face as it beckons you to explore around the next corner. A great choice for riding on every type of surface, and you’ll enjoy riding it so much that you’ll want to commute on it too. Features a good quality suspension fork with a lockout for when you need to go top speed on road.
Size 16” will fit riders in the 5’4” to 5’8” range, especially those with proportionately long legs.
26” x 2.0” all terrain tires on double wall alloy rims.

Trek 6700
One of the best things about living in Edmonton is the expansive river valley, and the best way to explore it and be nurtured by the nature is with a hardtail mountain bike. With hydraulic disc brakes and an adjustable fork, you’ll be ready for all the twists & turns and ups & downs the single track has to offer. And it’s not bad on the pavement, either, making the ride to the trailhead a joy.
Size 17.5” will fit riders in the 5’5” to 5’8” range.
26” x 2.1” offroad tires on double wall, eyeletted rims

The wide tires will float over any surface while the front suspension smooths out the bumps in the trail and the wide 3×8 gear range will get you up any hill. You know you’ll feel better when you’re exercising in the outdoors - here’s the machine that will get you out there.

Specialized Expedition Elite
Featuring upright handlebars, slack geometry, and the cushiest saddle that ever squished, this bike is a great choice for laid back city riding for when comfort is more important than speed. Ideal for short to medium distance commuting, tooling around the neighourhood, paved & gravel river valley paths, and it’s already got a rear rack for the farmers market run.
Will fit riders approximately 5’7” to 5’11” tall.
26” x 1.95” urban tires on double wall alloy rims.

Ghost Cagua 6540
Looking for a kick-ass enduro bike? This one’s got the smooth rolling feel of a 29'er with the quick handling and agility of a smaller wheel size. The robust aluminum frame is engineered specifically for 27.5 wheels. And a 12mm rear axle and 15mm front axle ensure the wheels track perfectly, so the bike goes exactly where you point it. Shimano SLX brakes handle the velocity control, and for serious stopping power, it sports a combination 203mm rotor up front and a 180mm in the rear. Also features a rear shock with a responsive Climb/Trail/Descend (CTD) 3-position adjustment lever for fast adjustment to changing terrain. Fun for riding up, down, or straight on through.
Will fit riders in the 5’5” to 5’8” range.
27.5” x 2.3” off-road tires on double wall, eyeletted rims.

Giant A/C
Looking for full suspension that won’t break the bank? In good condition, this old school dual suspension mountain bike is ready to turn the roughest terrain into the smoothest ride. Features hydraulic brakes that will stop you in your tracks after the gnarliest descent, an economical 3×8 drivetrain that is has enough gear range to climb walls, and enough travel on the front & back suspension to eat up all the rocks, roots, and drops you send its way.
Will fit riders in the 5’8” to 5’10” range.
26” x 2.35” off road tires on double wall, eyeletted rims.

Rans Screamer
If your dreams of hitting the highway for an epic tour with a dear one have been thwarted by discomfort with conventional bicycles, this recumbent tandem might be the perfect alternative. Tandems are brilliant for easily carrying on conversations, as well as for pairs with uneven fitness levels, so that one person is not always feeling like they’re playing catch-up with the other. Being a recumbent, there is a learning curve for riding it, but once mastered it is extraordinarily comfortable and so fast that it’s banned form traditional bike races. Features S & S couplers so that the frame can be split in half for easier shipping, tons of gear range, and an additional drum drag brake operated by the stoker.
Will fit 2 adult riders, each above 5’2” tall.
20” x 1.75” and 26” x 1.75” Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires on Aerospoke rims.
