Donate Your Used Bike

You can donate your old bike to Bike Edmonton! We’ll refurbish it and resell it, with all proceeds supporting our work of making cycling safe, widespread, and accessible to people of all comfort levels.

We also accept:

• tires

• usable bike parts and tools

• bike accessories (lights, bags, clothing, shoes, etc.)

• old clothing, sheets, and towels for rags

• consumables such as zip ties, elastic bands, degreasers, chain lube, etc.

• snacks for volunteers

HOW TO DONATE

Please send us a photo at info@bikeedmonton.ca or text it to 780-433-2453 and we’ll let you know if we can use your donation!

Drop off bike and parts donations during our open hours.

Please do not dump donations on our property outside of operating hours, as this encourages theft.

We may be able to pick up larger institutional donations (please contact us). We reserve the right to turn away donations.

WHAT We ACCEPT

Donations should generally be in good, near-complete condition (or, if incomplete, then high-quality). Items needing minor repair are generally accepted. Due to space constraints, not all donations can be accepted.

We have limited need for kids’ and smaller youth bikes. Please consider donating them to Sports Central.

Please note that we do not:

• have a pick-up service for donations

• have the ability to offer tax deductible receipts

• pay for donations

• trade, barter, or offer discounts in return for donations
