About Our Workshop

Bike Edmonton operates a fully-equippedvolunteer-run, community bike workshop. We have the tools (including specialty tools) needed to repair and maintain your bicycle, and mechanics to teach you how to do it. We have a large selection of used and new parts. We also have many used bicycles for sale, starting at $40 for basic as-is bicycles, and between $150-350 for most refurbished bikes.

Don't know anything about bicycle repairs? No problem! Volunteer mechanics are on duty to assist you, from finding a bike that's right for you, adjusting your seat, or fixing a flat, right up to building an entire bike from just parts.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept cash, debit, Visa, and MasterCard, American Express and most common credit cards. No minimum payment is required.

General Info

A bit about Bike Edmonton's community bicycle workshop:

  • You can learn how to fix your bicycle at either location!

  • You don't need to know anything about bike repair: our volunteer mechanics will teach you.

  • You can donate used bikes or parts.

  • You can buy refurbished used bicycles.

  • You can buy used bike parts and a limited selection of new parts as well.

  • We do not allow DIY bleeding of hydraulics in our shop.

  • Our ability to service some modern or higher-end components, as well as suspension, is limited. If you're uncertain, please contact us to confirm.

  • We do not allow gas powered bikes in our shop.

  • We generally will not check stock of bikes & parts over the phone or email—We will answer these questions when possible, but do not have the capacity to do this reliably. Please visit our shop during our regular hours to see what is available.

  • You cannot store your bike at our shop and we cannot place items on hold.

  • We operate the oldest community bike shop program in North America.
