We charge based on 15 and 30 minute windows. These are nominal categories, not exact time limits, and are based on how long it would typically take an experienced mechanic to complete the work.
Full Service Rates (parts extra):
15 minute service: members $14 / non-members $20
30 minute service: members $28 / non-members $40We will do as much work as possible based on time booked. Additional work may be possible, though you will need to pay for extra time if work exceeds the reasonable limit of booked time.
Note that out focus is on essential repairs to make your bike safe and functional. Large projects and overhauls will only be undertaken if space and time allow.
-
Book a Parts Consultation if you need help finding the right part for your bike. They are free, but don't include any work on your bike.
Parts Consultation Guidelines:
Many bike parts are very specific and not interchangeable. Always bring the bike or part with you whenever possible. A clear photo and the bike's make and model is helpful if you cannot bring the bike itself.
If booking a DIY/DIT or full service repair we can help you find parts during your appointment so there's no need to book a separate Parts Consultation.
For thorough bike assessments or involved repair advice, please book a 15 minute full service appointment.
-
If you are unsure what type of service you need, first check out the answers to common questions listed on our FAQ page.
If you’re still unsure, feel free to contact us. Please describe your bike issue in reasonable detail and we'll let you know what we suggest.
If you'd like us to thoroughly assess your bike please book a 15 minute full service repair.

diagnose or repair electronic e-bike components
offer complete overhauls or rebuilds

We are a volunteer powered community bike shop. Our shop is a learning space and our volunteers build their skills by assisting with all types of repairs.
We believe in fixing things before replacing them, within reason, and will work around your budget as much as possible to help you get riding.
We prioritize teaching and empowering people to fix their own bikes. We are glad to offer full service repairs, but we focus on specific repairs needed to keep you riding, not full overhauls or rebuilds. If you have a major repair project we suggest using DIY/DIT rather than full service repairs.
