As-Is Bikes for Sale

In addition to fully refurbished bikes, we also sell two types of ‘as-is’ bikes:

Project Bikes have not been tuned up. They range from bare frames to complete bikes, but most will need additional parts or repairs before they can be safely used.

Quick Tuned Bikes are quickly repaired to be safe and functional. They are cheaper than our fully refurbished bikes, but are not fixed up to the same high standard and may need additional work to function optimally.

Nakamura Dream

Kids’ bike with 16” x 2.125” tires will fit riders in the 3-4 year old range. Coaster (back-pedal) brake and rear hand brake.

Ready to roll.

Columbia Rambler 24

A sweet bike for roaming the neighbourhood. Ready to ride, single speed with disc brakes.

Will fit youth ages 7-10, with 24” x 2.35” all terrain tires.

Known issue: rim is bent beyond the point of being able to be completely re-trued, but it is still rideable thanks to the absence of rim brakes, just don’t take it off any jumps.

Super de Luxe Executive

This is a project. An extremely cool project. It is currently in rideable condition but it could be much better with the right set of hands to overhaul the bearings and upgrade the parts as they wear out.

Banana-seat bike sized with 20” tires, for a youngster or adult that rides for style over speed.

Eaton Glider Deluxe

A very cool 1959 3-speed with many original parts. Size adult small with 26” x 1-3/4” tires on steel rims.

Known issues: tires are nearing the end of their life and are a hard to find size (26”x1-3/4”, aka 45-571, aka 650C); saddle is very charming but very close to worn out.

Quick-tuned and ready for light riding.

Raleigh Peak

Size adult small-medium with 26” x 1.95” off-road tires on alloy rims.

Quick-tuned and ready to roll.

Known issue: fork is low quality.

Infinity Premier

Size adult medium with 26” x 1.95” offroad tires on alloy rims.

Quick tuned and ready to roll.

Known issue: drive train is more than 50% worn.

Everyday Trinity

City bike with front and back racks, fenders, chainguard, and bottle opener. Adult size small-medium with 700 × 35c tires.

Known issue: decorative machining on rims prevent braking power from being as strong as higher quality components.

Apollo Spectrum

Tuned up by volunteers, this rigid mountain bike has been given the extreme cafe cruiser treatment for a riding position that is excessively upright. Includes fender, rear rack, and basket.

Size 18.5” frame will fit riders in the 5’7” to 5’11” range (medium-large) with 26” x 2.125” all terrain tires on alloy rims.

Land Gear 8400

Size adult large with 26” x 2.0” all-terrain tires on alloy rims with decent components.

Quick-tuned and ready to roll.

Known issues - cables and possibly drivetrain may need replacement by the end of the first season of daily riding.
