As-Is Bikes for Sale

In addition to fully refurbished bikes, we also sell two types of ‘as-is’ bikes:

Project Bikes have not been tuned up. They range from bare frames to complete bikes, but most will need additional parts or repairs before they can be safely used.

Quick Tuned Bikes are quickly repaired to be safe and functional. They are cheaper than our fully refurbished bikes, but are not fixed up to the same high standard and may need additional work to function optimally.

Trek 20

A great choice for a youngster’s first pedal bike! Ultra-light single speed with a coaster brake and rear hand brake. Quick tuned and ready to ride.

Will fit kids in the 4 to 7 year old range.

20” x 1.75” street tires on alloy rims.

Known issues: brake cable will likely need replacement before the end of the first season.

Raleigh Diva

Quick tuned kids bike. Ready to roll.

Will fit riders in the 5 to 7 year old range.

20" x 2.125 tires on alloy rims.

Gary Fisher Pre-Caliber 24

Youth bike will fit riders in the 7-10 year old range. 24" x 1.95" off-road tires on alloy rims.

Quick tuned and ready to ride, but has not had annual preventative maintenance done.

Apollo Mixte

Size adult small, 27" x 1-1/4" tires on steel wheels. New bar tape.

In rideable condition.

Norco Cherokee

Size adult small with 26” x 2.1” all-terrain tires.

Quick tuned and ready to roll.

CCM Pulse

Size adult small with 26” x 1.95” off-road tires on alloy rims.

Quick tuned and ready to ride.

Known issues: fork will not stand up to much abuse and shifting will never be as clean as a higher end bike.

Raleigh Sport

Adult size medium, with 700 × 35c tires on alloy rims.

Quick-tuned and in overall nice shape.

CCM Capri

Size adult small-medium with 700 × 35c tires on double wall alloy rims.

Quick-tuned and ready to ride.

Known issue: shifting is not as crisp as higher end bikes.

CCM Aspen

If you're really tempted to buy a shiny new modern looking mountain bike from Canadian Tire, save yourself some money and hassle and buy this one instead. In barely used condition, it's been adjusted and tuned by a professional mechanic (unlike the new bikes at Canadian Tire and other big box stores), and is in rideable condition.

Size adult small/medium. 27.5" x 2.2" offroad tires on double wall rims.

Known issues: low quality fork will not last long if it is taken off jumps or ridden hard, and may not be a good fit with a heavier rider.

Electra Cruiser

Will fit a wide range of adults in the medium to large range. 26” x 1.95” hybrid tires on alloy rims.

Apollo Sensor

Size 19”, adult medium-large, with 26” x 1.9” commuter tires and nicely upgraded parts and accessories. Ready to ride, but will be due for a bottom bracket overhaul soon.

Novara Trionfo

Size 56cm (adult medium) with 700 × 23c tires on double walled, eyeletted rims.

A well ridden butted Japanese steel frame with good quality 1980s components. Quick-tuned and ready to roll into its next life.
